Intern Jiang Xiaotang infiltrates her wrongfully accused best friend’s former company as an intern, aiming to collect evidence of boss Li Mo’s corruption. She deliberately gets close to Li Mo’s secretary Chen Mo for clues—unaware Chen Mo is a “pawn” sent by Li Mo, who gives her fake evidence to frame her friend for “slander.” But when Xiaotang rushes to the tax bureau with the fake evidence, Chen Mo appears, handing her a real document stamped by the discipline inspection commission: “I’ve waited half a year for this.” It turns out Chen Mo is an undercover agent, and Xiaotang’s “revenge” was his bait to lure Li Mo.
