Six months after her boyfriend Gu Shen died in an accident, Lin Wan is still trapped in her grief. She moves into the old alley apartment Gu Shen once mentioned, only to find her new roommate Shen Yi looks exactly like her late boyfriend. Shen Yi is cold and distant, the opposite of passionate Gu Shen, but he leaves a warm lamp on when she works late and places a heating pad on her desk during her monthly cramps. Lin Wan resents the sting of this resemblance yet can't help being drawn to Shen Yi's quiet care—until she finds an old necklace identical to Gu Shen's hidden in his drawer.
