When a brutal snowstorm locks down the city, Su Xiao, a down-and-out female artist, takes shelter in an abandoned warm warehouse on the outskirts, only to run into Gu Yan, a former rich kid hiding from debt collectors. Trapped with no water or electricity, they huddle for warmth with leftover supplies, slowly letting their guards down. Later, Su Xiao discovers an unfinished manuscript left by Gu Yan's grandfather, revealing a heartwarming past—the warehouse was built by the old man as a loving shelter for left-behind children, and Gu Yan was one of those kids back then.
