After the accidental death of genius magician Shen Mo, his top assistant Lin Wan (played by Zhu Zhu) becomes the prime suspect. To clear her name, she takes on the role of "successor" to recreate Shen Mo's classic magic tricks. However, when deciphering the "Vanishing Key," she uncovers layers of intrigue behind her mentor's death—family inheritance disputes, betrayal by fellow disciples. Every magic show ends with a pair of hidden eyes watching her; and the person she trusts most may be the "mastermind" pushing her into the abyss. Truth and lies intertwine, and a "deadly magic" gamble with life has just begun.
