Undercover cop Chen Mo (Cao Tiankai) goes to Hong Kong to track down a triad’s “crime black box,” posing as a down-and-out businessman. He accidentally crosses paths with Lin Xiaoman (Fang Sichang), a righteous journalist investigating her family’s death—they’re both after the same case. From mutual suspicion as “prey and hunter,” they’re forced to team up to escape the triad’s pursuit. Chen Mo’s undercover identity is on the brink of exposure, and Lin Xiaoman soon realizes: the “truth” she’s chasing is inextricably linked to the man in front of her. As the net tightens, will they escape Hong Kong’s danger… or the love they can’t run from?
