Former anti-drug cop Lin Shen went into hiding to escape a drug cartel's追杀, running a small restaurant called "Deep Alley Bistro" in Jinmen, using the warmth of daily life to hide his past. Intern reporter Su Xiao broke into the bistro while investigating a missing informant, accidentally discovering his "abnormalities"—his vegetable-cutting skills resembled bomb disposal, and his sense of smell was sharper than a police dog's. When Su Xiao's investigation attracted the former enemies, Lin Shen's secret of "fake death" was about to be uncovered—his betraying comrade was still alive? On one side was Su Xiao, who wanted to expose the truth, and on the other was Lin Shen, who wanted to bury his past forever. They tested each other in danger but couldn't help falling for each other, and in the wind of Jinmen, a bigger storm was already hiding.
