Lin Xiaoman, owner of a hot spring inn, has struggled to keep her mother’s last wish alive for three years. One day, Gu Shen—covered in injuries—bursts in. He slams down three times the rent, demands to “occupy” the inn alone for a month, and sets a cold rule: “No questions about my privacy.” But this icy man secretly fixes the leaky roof, leaves her a bowl of hot ginger tea during her period, and even remembers the hot spring recipe from her mother’s diary. When Xiaoman finds an old photo proving Gu Shen is the homeless boy her mother saved years ago, and when Gu Shen’s hidden chemotherapy report is accidentally discovered, what floats on the warm water—is the unspoken 20-year crush, or the unmentioned final goodbye?
