Lin Miao, the youngest navigator of the interstellar fleet, promised her lover Gu Xingye to find the "Star's Shore"—the last habitable planet for humans. But a sudden starburst wiped out Gu Xingye's ship signal completely. Everyone believed he was dead, yet Lin Miao, clutching the star map he left, set off alone in the damaged "Guixu" to search for him. For three years, she traversed asteroid belts, fought space pirates, and cracked the star map's code. However, when she neared the truth, she discovered: Gu Xingye's disappearance was linked to the Interstellar Alliance's "Abandoned Child Plan"—he had long uncovered the fatal secret of the "Star's Shore" and chose to vanish to keep Lin Miao safe. When the light at the end of the star sea lit up the dashboard, Lin Miao held Gu Xingye's final recording: "Miaomiao, there's no return in the star sea, but I'm always where you can see me when you look up."
