Su Wan, a relic restorer guarding her late master's old studio, insists on letting 'silent antiques speak for themselves'. But she's targeted by Lu Zhao, a cynical antique dealer—he arrives with a 'suspected fake' Song Dynasty lady portrait, demanding her 'authentication' to make quick money. Su Wan immediately recognizes the cinnabar in the painting as her master's unique technique, proving it's genuine. Yet she learns Lu Zhao's real motive: to reclaim the 'treasure his grandfather lost to her master'. From bitter rivals to allies in investigating the painting's origin, they uncover an unspoken love story from the previous generation. And their own hearts, like the dust-covered antique—when wiped clean, start to reveal their most authentic selves…
