Lin Chuan, a young village doctor in Qingzhu Village, becomes the "villagers' savior" with his grandfather's ancient medical skills, but he can't figure out Su Xiaomei, the village belle who always avoids him. One rainy night, Su knocks on his door with an unconscious old woman—her grandma, who was rumored to have "died years ago." It turns out Su has been secretly caring for Grandma (who has tuberculosis) in a broken temple on the mountain for three years, fearing villagers would say Grandma "brings bad luck to her family." Lin uses acupuncture to ease Grandma's condition, but when the secret leaks, villagers call Su "unlucky" and doubt Lin's skills as "evil." With Grandma's health worsening and misunderstanding deepening, how will Lin use his medical skills to break the rumors and help Su protect her hidden filial piety?
