Nanxing, a playful fairy from the celestial realm, is banished to Earth for messing up a red thread of fate. Her mission: reform Lin Chuan, a deadbeat office worker she wronged in a past life. Lin Chuan, freshly laid off and dumped, is drowning his sorrows in alcohol when Nanxing bursts in, claiming to be his "fairy wife" here to "fix his life." She uses magic to craft his resume (writing "can fly on clouds" by mistake), forces him to jog with immobilization spells, and almost blows their cover with invisibility while helping him win a client.
