Lin Chuan, a hermit heir to ancient medical arts, goes down the mountain to find his missing master as ordered. Upon entering the city, he saves Sui Anrong—a cold CEO poisoned by enemies—and is stuck with her demand to be her 'personal doctor'. Then Gao Ziyi, a quirky reporter, films him 'diagnosing pulse without touching' and clings to him for an exclusive. At a free clinic, he meets Xiao Huiyue, a gentle Chinese medicine clinic owner, who holds his master’s old jade pendant and says, 'I’ve been waiting for you.' Surrounded by three different beauties, Lin Chuan juggles their pursuit while investigating his master’s disappearance—only to find each woman hides a secret tied to his master, and he’s caught in a conspiracy to steal an ancient medical manuscript.
