Fresh out of college, Lin Wan was tricked by an acquaintance into northern Myanmar, where she stumbled into a life-or-death gambling ring run by evil forces. Every bet is a matter of life and death—lose, and you risk losing a limb or even your life. Pretending to be weak and obedient, she secretly observed the game's rules and opponents' flaws, teamed up with other coerced victims, turned the tables time and again, gambled with her own life on the edge of a knife, just to tear off the evil disguise and escape this hell on earth with her companions.
