Modern urban office worker Tang Sheng accidentally time-travels into a weak ancient scholar. Receiving a secret family order, his westbound trip is not for Buddhist scriptures but to search for his long-lost younger sister in the western desert and realize the truth of "enlightenment". Along the way, he encounters mysterious bandits, a beauty from the Western Regions, and even uncovers a conspiracy behind the order—"searching for his sister" is a trap. From an office worker who just wants to go home, he gradually understands that the "Dao" is the determination to protect his loved ones. This unknown westbound journey is not only a trip to find relatives, but also a growth practice of self-redemption.
