Lin Xiao, a regular designer, accidentally stumbles upon her mother’s yellowed old diary and uncovers a long-buried secret: When her mother was young, she gave up her own design talent to support her uncle’s family’s painter dream, devoting herself to dedication for half her life. Unexpectedly, her grown-up cousin stole her mother’s design works, plagiarized her life resume, and even snatched the top brand designer offer Lin Xiao had in hand. Lin Xiao is determined to help her mother reclaim the stolen life, but during the investigation, she finds that her uncle’s family’s promises back then were all lies, and her mother’s abandonment hides much sadness and helplessness. A contest about family affection, dignity and truth thus begins.
