Su Wan returns to the ancient town to fulfill her grandfather's last wish of "finding the breeze", only to run into Lu Shiyan, a developer who wants to demolish the century-old Fenghe Alley to build a cultural tourism city. From being at odds to working together, they unearth old stories in the alley—her grandfather's shadow puppet troupe, love letters hidden in an old locust tree hole, and the inheritance secret of the Fenghe Cake Shop. They then discover that Lu Shiyan's "demolition" is actually protective restoration, and "the breeze" is exactly the promise her grandfather made to the town. When the long-held misunderstanding is resolved, can they守住 the town's breeze and their mutual affection?
