Su Wan, known as the "Living Yama" in the jianghu, never fails to predict life and death—her fee is three thousand taels of gold. Until Yan Xun, a man in a silver mask, slams three thousand taels on her table—not to ask about his death date, but to use the gold to "buy his own life." Yan Xun is cursed with a "seven-day death spell," and only Su Wan's fortune-telling can break it. Su Wan wants to refuse, but she spots a jade pendant on Yan Xun—from her master who's been missing for ten years. For her master, Su Wan teams up with him. But as they unravel the curse, she learns the one who massacred her family is Yan Xun's uncle? And is Yan Xun's tenderness real or just manipulation? When a death-judging fortune-teller meets a "dying man," does the three thousand gold buy a life... or a broken heart?
