In the 1980s, rural doctor Su Xiaotang was abandoned by her fiance due to the "husband-killing" stigma. However, she accidentally activated her ancestral medical book inheritance and cured the village chief's father's chronic illness with her silver needle technique—only to be framed as practicing "witchcraft" by jealous villagers. While using her skills to debunk rumors and treat villagers' rare diseases, she even healed a military commander调研ing the village. Gradually, she opened a clinic in the county town. When her ex-fiance tried to reconcile after seeing her success, Su Xiaotang, who had long seen through his true nature, stayed true to her mission of protecting the villagers and wrote her own counterattack legend in the 1980s.
