Wang Ying, a top planner at an advertising company, takes on the "Neon Renewal" project for the city's core area, only to find the competing designer is Lin Chuan—her boyfriend who vanished without a word three years ago. They clash fiercely over the project, but during their research on the old town's light memories, they uncover the truth: Lin Chuan left to secretly save Wang Ying's seriously ill mother.
