Su Wan, who returned home to open a homestay, had just hung the wooden sign of "Chunzaoju" (Early Spring Residence) when she ran into Lin Shen, an ancient architecture restorer here to repair the village's old ancestral hall—the boy who helped her pick up her wind-blown notebook in middle school but never dared to say "I like you". Now one wants to demolish an old house to expand the courtyard, while the other insists on protecting the ancestral hall and its century-old murals. Amid Lingnan's early spring breeze, the conflicting pair rediscovered the unsent love letter in the notebook and the old memories hidden in kapok petals. When the tea smoke from "Chunzaoju" mingled with the camphor scent of the ancestral hall, they realized: what's worth keeping isn't the old walls, but the unspoken words—"I've been waiting for you".
