Chen Jili and Wang Haobo, two intern rivals, compete for a full-time position by targeting the same birthday gift for their goddess-like director Lin Xiaoman—a vintage necklace left by her late mother. When they realize they’ve bought identical necklaces, they start sabotaging each other, only to uncover each other’s true intentions: Chen is grateful for Lin taking care of his sick grandma, while Wang owes her for saving his cat.
