Village youth Lin Yang became lame in an accident and was mocked by villagers as a "useless person". Even his secret crush, Su Xiaotang, was forced by her father to stay away from him. In despair, Lin Yang found rare wild animals in the back mountain and started a hunting business with self-made traps and tracking skills. He dealt with poachers' difficulties and villagers' doubts while quietly helping Su Xiaotang solve her family's problems—her father's serious illness and vegetable fields destroyed by wild boars. When Lin Yang saved his first pot of gold and built a brick house, Su Xiaotang finally confessed despite her father's opposition. But then poachers reported him for "illegal hunting". Will Lin Yang be able to keep his love and career when all his efforts are about to be in vain?
