Chen Mo, the poorest beggar in Kowloon City, is suddenly chosen by the wealthy Su family to be their son-in-law—all because Su Wanwan, the family's daughter, was betrayed by her fiancé, and the Su family forces her to "marry a beggar" to ward off misfortune. Chen Mo seems meek, but he's actually the young marshal of the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce, which was wiped out ten years ago. He's been in hiding to avenge his family. As a son-in-law, he endures the Su family's mockery while investigating the truth of the massacre, but unknowingly falls for the stubborn, unyielding Su Wanwan. When clues of his revenge point directly to Su Wanwan's father, how will he choose—avenge his family's blood feud, or hold onto the love that's just begun to bloom?
