In the old hutong near Shichahai, Beijing, Yang Han, an intangible cultural heritage paper lantern maker, guards "Chungui Tang" left by his grandfather. He clashes fiercely with Yi Shu, an investment bank elite tasked with acquiring the hutong—Yang sees the old house as his grandfather’s legacy, while Yi believes "old things must yield to progress". But when Yi learns lantern-making from Yang and hears the hutong’s stories, and when Yang discovers Yi secretly helping him secure heritage support policies, their stances crumble. The spring night wind carries the warm glow of paper lanterns—does it light up two hearts drawing closer, or the tough choice ahead?
