"Spring Tide at the Beijing Olympics" follows Zhang Xiaotang, an intern at the Olympic volunteer recruitment office, who meets Lin Shen, a former sprinter who retired due to injury and now works as a courier. To reignite his passion for sports, Xiaotang secretly compiles Lin Shen's old training logs into an "Athlete Spirit Sharing Course" and forces him to be a volunteer lecturer. Lin Shen, thinking she's "exploiting his failure," slams the door in her face—until he sees Xiaotang picking up scattered log pages in the rain, each page marked with her note: "This isn't failure; it's an unfinished story." From clashing to healing each other, Lin Shen finally returns to the Olympic Village as a volunteer coach with young athletes, and their love, like a spring tide, washes over the once gloomy track.
