Ordinary office worker Yang Lintao (nicknamed Yangtao) suddenly inherits his grandfather's old suburban apartment. He thinks it's his chance to escape poverty—until he moves in and discovers all his tenants are hidden cultivation experts! Li Yuan, the cold-faced sword immortal, calls him a “troublesome mortal” but secretly uses sword qi to tear up his unfair work proposal when he's bullied at work; the chip-obsessed cat demon chews the sofa into crumbs yet uses demon power to keep him awake during all-nighters; the sarcastic doctor immortal complains he has “less vitality than a weed” but quietly slips qi-boosting medicine into his cup. But beneath the warm daily chaos lies a crisis: the apartment is a “refuge sanctuary” for the cultivation world, and someone is trying to break the barrier to capture the tenants! Yangtao has to help everyone pass property inspections while teaming up with Li Yuan to solve his grandfather's secrets and protect this “unordinary home”. The cohabitation of an office worker and cultivation experts is both hilariously funny and sweet to the core～
