"Gui Xiang Ju" at the old alley is Lin Xiaoman's whole life—it's the osmanthus cake shop left by her grandfather. She has kneaded the fragrance of osmanthus into every cake and guarded it for ten years. Until Gu Chengchuan, a returning architect, bursts in with a demolition blueprint—what he wants to tear down is exactly the "fortress" Xiaoman has built with her youth. The two, locked in bitter disputes, uncover old memories: when Gu was a child, he was given a warm osmanthus cake by an old man in the alley, who turns out to be Xiaoman's grandfather. When the demolition order comes, will she cling to her grandfather's last wish, or let go of her obsession for love? In the lingering osmanthus fragrance, there are two generations' concerns and their unspoken "I like you."
