Su Xiao, a working mom who gave up her career for her family, finds herself “forgotten” by society after her child enters middle school. Lin Wan, her entrepreneurial best friend, loses all savings and stumbles upon her decade-old notebook of dreams while hiding from debts. Xu Tang, a full-time housewife, catches her husband cheating and touches the white dress she dared not wear before marriage. When all three want to “turn back” to find their former selves, they’re blocked by family ties, debt pressure, and past regrets. Huddled in a rental apartment, crying over instant noodles, they decide to “reverse course” together: Su Xiao re-sends job apps, Lin Wan sells handcrafts at a vintage market, Xu Tang learns flower arranging. Turns out, “turning back” is never a step backward—it’s finally daring to face the unfinished parts of themselves.
