Liao Jiajie, the heir of a conglomerate, disguises himself as a deliveryman to find his missing brother and infiltrates the hospital where his brother was last seen. He accidentally meets Zhong Lingling, a nurse who stayed with his brother in his final moments. He approaches her with suspicion, but is gradually moved by her kindness: paying medical bills for the elderly, chatting with terminally ill patients, keeping warm meals for overtime colleagues... However, when his identity is exposed, Zhong Lingling mistakes him for a "rich kid investigating her" and leaves. At this moment, his brother's diary is found, full of gratitude to Zhong Lingling—turns out she was the "light" his brother hid in his life. Can Liao Jiajie win back her heart? Is their "misconnected fate" actually a "reunion" fate had long arranged?
