Security guard Chen Feng has long dreamed of rising above his lowly life, but always gets stuck at the bottom. One day, he is mistaken by two swindlers plotting to cheat the group president for a man who looks exactly like the president—he is dragged into the fraud as a "temporary tycoon". Chen has to cover the lie to fend off the swindlers’ pressures, avoid the scrutiny of group employees, and face misunderstandings from his crush Xia, a colleague. Later, the swindlers’ conspiracy is accidentally exposed. The group chairman notices Chen’s integrity and offers him a chance to transfer from a security guard to a junior manager, turning the swindlers’ blunder into his own chance at success.
