Wei Fanshu, an urban landscape designer, travels to Chunshan Ao for an ancient village renovation bid, only to clash with Ma Shiyao, a bamboo-weaving intangible heritage inheritor guarding the village—he calls her an "invader destroying old houses," while she mocks him as a "stubborn traditionalist."
