Chen Xiaobao, an ad man who eats instant noodles outside his company after overtime, is stopped by an old man in gold and silver: "Son, I'm Zhao Gongming, the God of Wealth. I left you with mortals to avoid Heaven's punishment back then." He thinks it's a scam—until the old man flicks his finger: 100,000 yuan suddenly appears in his phone, his landlord brings fruit with a smile, and even his crush asks him out. But before he can enjoy being the "son of the God of Wealth", a group of "Heavenly Enforcers" break in, saying the God of Wealth brought divine power to the mortal world without permission and will take both father and son back to Heaven. Xiaobao must help his dad complete the "last mortal mission" within 24 hours—fulfill the wishes of three people in despair. Otherwise, he will not only lose everything he just gained, but also lose his newly reunited dad forever.
