Lin Xiaoman, an ancient music restorer, accidentally picks up an old suona carved with blood-red "God-Slaying" patterns. No sooner does she fix the sound holes than strange things happen: crow corpses on the windowsill at midnight, a voice message from her missing sister saying "Don’t play that suona", and a man in black stopping her in the alley, warning, "This suona can tear gods apart—but it feeds on your lifespan." Desperate to find her sister, she blows it for the first time—only to see her parents, who died in a fire ten years ago, standing in front of her. On the street camera, her sister is smiling and waving toward the suona, with a shapeless "shadow" behind her, waiting for Xiaoman to step into the "God-Slaying" trap...
