When cheerful illustrator Lin Xiaoman meets melancholic novelist Lu Yuan, two polar opposite souls collide by fate. Xiaoman captures the world's vibrancy with her paintbrush while Lu drowns in the grayscale of life. A sudden accident intertwines their lives, blending joy and sorrow like inseparable shadows. As Xiaoman uncovers Lu's childhood trauma, and as Lu slowly thaws under her sunshine, they must choose: will past darkness consume their future, or can they paint a new palette together?
