Su Wan, adopted as a child, suddenly receives an inheritance notice from the mysterious "Shi Family" and is forced to return to the century-old mansion hidden in the old alley. Family members here all harbor ulterior motives—her second uncle plots to seize her share, her cousin seethes with jealousy over her "sudden arrival," and even the old butler avoids talking to her about certain things. What's more eerie is the woman's sobbing echoing from the attic every midnight. She also finds an old diary filled with her name in a drawer, with suspicious red stains on the pages. As she follows the clues, she stumbles upon the terrifying secret: the Shi Family sacrifices a girl to the "Soul-Locking Room" every twenty years. And her adoptive mother? She's the eldest daughter of the family who "vanished" twenty years ago...
