Lin Chuan, the most unruly disciple of a hermit sect, is forced by his master to see a future of "family ruin and total betrayal" using a forbidden technique. He calls the master senile and storms down the mountain—only to witness his stepmother stealing the family fortune, his fiancée colluding with his cousin to frame him, and even his childhood friend stabbing him in the back. The prophecy is 100% true! On the verge of death, he activates the "Weird Task System": help an old flower seller chase away a fraud, make a cotton coat for a stray dog... Each silly task rewards him with a counterattack item. When he uses the "Truth Talisman" to expose his stepmother's lies and the "Rebound Glove" to make his cousin suffer his own tricks, those who once trampled on him finally taste the pain of their own evil deeds...
