Lin Xiaoman, a convenience store clerk, is devastated when her younger sister suddenly disappears, leaving only the words "Nightmare World" as a clue. Determined to find her, Xiaoman accidentally stumbles into a strange realm woven from human dreams—here, everyone is trapped by their obsessions and must solve clues in each scenario to survive; failure dooms them to become "nourishment" for the nightmares. Xiaoman's mission is to "uncover the root of her sister's fear." She traverses her sister's nightmare scenes: an abandoned primary school, a carousel stuck in an endless falling loop, a burning convenience store... Each step reveals the sister's unspoken secrets—she was bullied because of Xiaoman's neglect, she secretly saved money for Xiaoman's birthday gift only to encounter an accident. Just as Xiaoman closes in on the truth, she discovers the "curator" controlling the Nightmare World is an "alter ego" her sister created to protect her...
