Chen Jianguo once lost everything to gambling, driving his wife away and making his daughter Chen Xi distant. Ten years later, he's turned over a new leaf and become the community's "anti-gambling veteran," using his old "gambling tricks" to expose modern scams. But when Chen Xi brings home her "perfect fiancé"—who's secretly in debt of a million from online gambling—Chen Jianguo has to save the guy *and* mend his relationship with his daughter. He uses his decade-old "gambling notebook" as an "anti-gambling manual," goes undercover as a "seasoned gambler" in scammer groups (getting into hilarious messes), and finally uses his own "scars" to wake the fiancé up. In the end, he not only takes down the gambling ring but also wins back his daughter's trust... and even finds a warm-hearted lady who shares his anti-gambling passion!
