Tang’s brother Acheng is obsessed with stone gambling—he’s spent all his savings, racked up huge debts, and even plans to sell their late parents’ house. Determined to save him, Tang sneaks into his gambling circle and discovers he’s been tricked by a corrupt dealer using fake “premium stones.” When she confronts Acheng with evidence, he accuses her of meddling, leading to a bitter fight. It’s only when loan sharks show up and Tang takes a punch for him that Acheng wakes up: he’d long forgotten his original dream as a jade carver. Together, they expose the scam, and Acheng picks up his chisel again—returning to the brother Tang once knew.
