Lin Chuan, a loser white-collar worker, awakens an X-ray ability in his left eye after an accident—he can see through objects, read minds, and even predict danger. Once oppressed by his boss and hounded by loan sharks, he first uses his power to expose his supervisor's embezzlement and get promoted to manager. Then he finds hope for his childhood sweetheart's leukemia: a 100-year-old ginseng hidden in the antique market. But when he closes in on the ginseng with his ability, he's targeted by "esper hunters": some want to dig out his left eye to make medicine, others want to control him for gang money laundering. Forced to fight back with his "cheat code", Lin Chuan makes quick money with his X-ray to raise medical fees while battling dark forces... Can he keep his ability, turn his life around, and protect the people he cares about?
