Lin Xiaoman, a poor boy, loaded a truck of white porridge early in the morning to set up his stall, but fell into a construction pit and traveled back to an ancient disaster area filled with starving people. Seeing crying children and desperate elderly, he gritted his teeth and opened the truck—steaming porridge became the "living Buddha" in the famine. This act alerted Ye Zhao, the female emperor on an incognito visit. She initially wanted to punish him for "using sorcery to deceive people", but witnessed him cooking porridge with a modern pressure cooker, distributing it with plastic bowls, and even teaching refugees to grow potatoes! When the empress asked, "What reward do you want?", Lin scratched his head and said he just wanted to earn money to go back and marry a wife. Ye Zhao smiled: "Then marry me—I'll help you sell porridge all over the world."
