Lin Xiao, a young woman working away from her hometown, missed the annual grave-sweeping trip to her late grandfather's tomb due to a sudden urgent work project. That night, strange things kept happening in her rented apartment: the bedside photo of her grandpa tilted suddenly, her phone automatically showed a missed call from grandpa but went to an empty number when she dialed back, and a bamboo lantern grandpa often talked about flashed past the window. Before he passed away, grandpa had kept begging her to come back for Qingming Festival. A cold chill ran down her spine, realizing her careless mistake had triggered something beyond her imagination.
