Lin Xiaoman, host of the late-night radio show "Unsaid Words", lost her voice three years ago after witnessing her best friend's suicide and now heals listeners with text. Until voiceprint expert Lu Chuan shows up with her friend's final recording, saying, "I can restore what she didn't say"—he asks Lin to help investigate her friend's death, and in return, he'll help her regain her voice. As they collaborate, Lin learns her friend's "suicide" was a threat, and she'd actually heard the cry for help but stayed silent out of fear. When the truth nears, Lu admits he sought Lin because he too has an unsaid secret—he was her friend's ex-boyfriend, and he also failed to hear her plea.
