In a modern city, ordinary girl Qiao Jiale advertises for a roommate to save money, only to 'accidentally pick up' the mysterious Xiang Yunjie online and mistakenly take him as her boyfriend for rent-sharing. At first, life seems sweet: he's handsome and caring, but his bizarre quirks—like using a dagger to cut pizza or staring cluelessly at smartphones—hint at trouble. The secret unravels: he's an ancient warrior who time-traveled into the present, fleeing a bloody past and mission. Conflict escalates: modern technology clashes with his chivalrous ways, forcing him to choose between staying in this era with her or fulfilling his destiny in the past. Suspense and romance entwine: will his true identity be exposed? Can their love across centuries survive impending doom? A brain-twisting, sweet-yet-tormenting time-slip adventure blending fast-paced comedy and heartfelt tension, where space bends and daily routines become absurd battlegrounds.
