Picking up right after the first season's cliffhanger, office worker Lin Xiao and her long-standing rival Shen Yi from a competing company thought they'd never cross paths again—until the second season kicks off with them being force-matched by the company's "Forced Heartbeat" matchmaking system as the very first pair. Forced to complete a series of intimate, heart-fluttering tasks together, they start off bickering and sabotaging each other at every turn. But when they're forced to team up for a tough work project, they accidentally discover each other's hidden gentle sides. With harsh penalties for failing the mission and mounting pressure from their corporate rivalry, will they let their guards down and let true feelings take root, or will the forced attraction fall apart?
