Lin Chuan's wife Su Xiao, a foreign aid nurse, finally returned triumphantly after a year. When picking her up, he noticed her slightly swollen belly—clearly, she had been taking Chinese medicine to regulate her body when they parted, so how could she suddenly be pregnant? Su Xiao avoided his gaze and only said, 'I'll tell you later.' But that night, an unknown number sent a text: 'Her child isn't yours.' Lin Chuan also found a prenatal check-up form from an African hospital in her luggage. When he collapsed and confronted her, Su Xiao cried and ran away. It wasn't until Su Xiao's comrade came to the door that the truth was revealed: local pregnant woman Aisha died in childbirth and entrusted her child to Su Xiao on her deathbed. Su Xiao pretended to be pregnant just to bring the child back to China. Looking at the baby in Su Xiao's arms, Lin Chuan finally understood—this 'pregnancy' was the warmest lie.
