Lin Xuan, a 70-year-old tea farmer hiding in a small town, was once the legendary "Xuan Yang Immortal Venerable"—until Su Wanshuang, the top fairy of the sect, showed up with a contract, begging him to "cultivate immortality together." It turns out the enemy who massacred his family 70 years ago has returned, and the sect can no longer fight the evil force—only Lin Xuan's Xuan Yang Technique can suppress it. But Lin Xuan has long been disillusioned with the immortal world—until Su Wanshuang takes out a jade pendant he gave his little junior sister, the only relic not destroyed by the enemy. And Su Wanshuang? She's the orphan of that little junior sister. Between the blood feud sealed for 70 years and the fairy's urgent plea, Lin Xuan clutches the pendant and decides to put on his immortal robe again—this time, to get justice for his past self and the girl in front of him.
