Su Ruanruan, a modern drama queen and beauty blogger, travels back to the 1970s and becomes the "troublesome village flower" of Taohua Village. As soon as she wakes up, the whole village labels her "pretentious"—Captain Gu Ye thinks she’s "out of touch with reality", intellectual Lin Xiaotang mocks her "inability to work", and even Aunt Zhang mutters she’s "wasting food stamps on face cream". But Su Ruanruan turns her "drama" into magic: she makes lace cotton pants for the elderly with scrap fabric, turns unsold face cream into "all-natural skincare" with honey, and even leads the women to host a "rural fashion show". Gu Ye, who originally wanted to "fix" her, gradually falls for her wit and kindness, turning from a "cold judge" into a "drama-protecting expert". When the drama queen meets the iron-faced captain, the 1970s wind is filled with the sweet laughter of mutual healing.
