Shen Mo, a CEO of a listed company, goes bankrupt overnight due to his trusted aide's betrayal, falling from the peak to a plight where he can't even afford rent. On a rainy night, he meets Wan Tang, a fairy who claims to be on a mission from the immortal realm—she was banished to the mortal world for spilling fairy dew and must help Shen Mo make a comeback to return. But this fairy knows nothing about human rules: she uses magic to make creditors "lose their memory" of debts, but changes Shen Mo's job resume into an "immortal resume"; she almost exposes her magic while helping him negotiate investments, causing a series of hilarious blunders. Shen Mo goes from resisting her as a "liar" to being touched by her innocence and devotion; Wan Tang also falls in love with this man who never gives up even when knocked down, as she accompanies him to rebuild his business. Just as Shen Mo finally makes a comeback on his own, Wan Tang has to return to the immortal realm because her magic is exhausted—can he keep the "fairy wife" who fell from the sky?
