Top risk control consultant Lin Chuan went from being a "corporate savior" to a "fugitive" in debt of tens of millions overnight, forced to take the blame for a client. To pay off his debts, he hid his identity and became a "bankruptcy master"—helping desperate clients legally cut ties with their debts and start over. But when he took on a wealthy family's inheritance case, he clashed with Su Xiao, a justice-driven lawyer investigating a loan fraud scheme. From bitter rivals to unlikely allies, they uncovered that Lin Chuan's past "scapegoat incident" was linked to a money-laundering ring behind the wealthy family. As the "bankruptcy master" faces the need to "settle" his own past, can he balance his moral bottom line with the harsh reality of survival?
